We spent a long weekend in NYC with Papa Ron, Gammie Julie and Aunt Jen. One day we took the train into Manhattan then parted ways. They took the kids, giving Jason and I the luxury of a leisurely kid-free day in the city.
We spent our time shopping, hanging out in Central Park, strolling the galleries of the MoMa, followed by a fabulous dinner at Fig & Olive, a restaurant we stumbled upon thanks to an iPhone shake on Urbanspoon.

Relaxing picnic in Central Park, catered by the Whole Foods right across the street, just like last year:

Jason and I were both drawn to this chandelier, comprised of broken dishes and silverware:
Wow! That chandelier makes me want to smash all of my dishes just so I can try my hand at making it!
