How I Spent My Christmas Vacation

January 6, 2011 by dailygnome 3 Comments

Following the hustle and bustle, we relaxed after Christmas in the town of Hood River, rented a house and got our snow fix in… Be forewarned: a blast of personal family photos to follow. I’m digging my portable point and shoot left under the tree.

Bundled up and ready to go…

Storm Troopers: 40mph winds and blizzard conditions? Not a problem as long as you keep moving…

And can thaw out in a warming hut:

I really thought my new hat looked cuter that that…

Recharging:
Back at home base, evenings included hot chocolate and movie watching in comfy jammies…

First lesson a success!
Disappointed he didn’t get to ride the lift.

Totally worth waiting it out for a blue bird day on the slopes…
