Ham Biscuits and A Giant Star

Today Miss Hadley and I will board a plane for Roanoke, Virginia, Star City of the South. She’s promised to be on her best behavior during the flight but that was before I told her it was five hours. Crossing my fingers that we’ll be seated next to a very kind and patient person.

A week spent catching up with my sis, playing with my nephews, eating grits, relishing the sound of southern accents, taking in the view from Mill Mountain and checking out the World’s Largest Man-Made Illuminated Star. Can’t wait.

I’ll be missing my boys but thanks to Skype I’ll still be able to view Carson’s bed head each morning as he tells me our President’s name is Rock O’Mama.
