Colonial Williamsburg

July 21, 2009 by dailygnome 1 Comment

We enjoyed an afternoon in Colonial Williamsburg walking the streets and looking at all the historical buildings. I look forward to returning when the kids are older and attention spans increase.

I bought a wide brim straw hat at the open air market perfect for lounging by the pool, bad hair days in this humid weather and gardening back home. It wasn’t on my head more than five minutes before Carson wanted to try it on and took off running. Seconds later the wind caught the brim sailing it off his head and into a pile of horse manure in front of the Governor’s mansion.
