We set the alarm extra early in order to drop off our May Day treats {via wagon} on our neighbors’ doorsteps before they came out.

Super sneaky and fast – we finished our entire block and were at the coffeehouse before 7am.
Among the many reasons I couldn’t wait to be back in our home was to host friends once again. We gathered a handful of families for a festive NYE celebration. The theme was post-apocalyptic Mayan featuring ceviche, plenty of guacamole and salsas, quesadillas and the most fabulous pasole on the planet {thanks Toby!}. On tap: palomas, fresh sangria and the drink of the gods. Everyone brought something to the table which was good because we still had lots of unpacking to do!
