Watching the Garden Grow

The tomatoes are in the ground and it’s official – our garden is now planted for the season. We did two things different this year – a front yard plot and planting from seed (minus the tomatoes and blueberry bushes). I haven’t had a lot of luck planting from seed in years past but this year it seems to be working out. I may have timed things better but something else seems to be playing a hand in my newfound green thumb. Although it’s just a hunch…

I think the gnome has something to do with it:
