Poster Designs Inspired By The Great Depression

February 26, 2009 by dailygnome 2 Comments

ReadyMade recently asked five artists to reimagine the populist poster art of the Great Depression.

Once I spotted Simplicity Is The Key To Successful Living by illustrator Nick Dewar, I promptly printed it out and framed it up. Love everything about it – the design, the message, the flat colors and the fact it fit perfectly in my $3 IKEA frame.

View and download all five for free here.
