This morning I spotted this photo on this blog and thought to myself:
I have a wall like that in my kitchen.
There’s a can of chalkboard paint somewhere in this house.
I could use a change today.
I put Hadley down for her nap and during one episode of Think Out Loud a little corner of our kitchen went from this:

Now we have a place to write our weekly meal plans, to do lists, and Carson has a big ol’ canvas outside his room for chalk creations.

Love this!!! I have wanted to do this myself but have orange peel walls which I heard don’t work well with the chalkboard paint. 🙁
