Ever since Carson began eating solids two years ago I’ve had high chair issues. I’m not a fan of big, clunky high chairs. And there is no shortage of them on market. We opted for a booster-on-a-chair model but it was such a pain to clean and any time we had more than one guest at a meal we were playing musical chairs. We packed it away in storage last summer and I wasn’t looking forward to bringing it out again for Hadley.
IKEA Spoling High Chair: The Chair That Fits
I began researching and discovered the practical phil&teds metoo high chair. Such great reviews. Such high hopes. But after it arrived I realized it doesn’t work with a pedestal table (I’m not one to read the fine print sometimes). It’s now finding a new home on craigslist.
Enter the IKEA Spoling Chair. Bold pattern, a breeze to clean, economical, sits right up at the table and the best feature of all: When not in use folds up neatly on the side of the fridge where nobody sees or trips over it.
love this… may have to borrow or buy it from you next year! 😉
