Happy New Year!

January 3, 2013 by dailygnome 1 Comment

Among the many reasons I couldn’t wait to be back in our home was to host friends once again. We gathered a handful of families for a festive NYE celebration. The theme was post-apocalyptic Mayan featuring ceviche, plenty of guacamole and salsas, quesadillas and the most fabulous pasole on the planet {thanks Toby!}. On tap: palomas, fresh sangria and the drink of the gods. Everyone brought something to the table which was good because we still had lots of unpacking to do!

Fireworks!

A few kids crashed, but most were still standing when the clock struck twelve:

Including our little night owl {bottoms up Hads}. Here’s to a fun, healthy and happy 2013!
