For those of us in Stumptown (and procrastinators in warmer climates) needing a gift once the big thaw finally arrives, here’s one that is both useful and beautiful. No express shipping or a trip to the mall required. All you need is a printer and some nice cardstock.
Lighting and homeware company Mibo, located just across the pond, is offering their Mibo 2009 Calendar for download. It’s set up as a wall calendar, but I downsized it to desktop size and used a business card holder as a stand. I think this would make a lovely hostess gift or stocking stuffer wrapped in a clear cellophane envelope. Or frame up the artwork (February and October illustrations are my favs) for instant wall decor.
