Happy New Year

January 3, 2011 by dailygnome 4 Comments

We had such a good time at last year’s NYE sushi celebration we decided to do it again, this time with a fondue theme. With three different cheeses on tap plus a chocolate version simmering in front of the fire we rang in the new year with full bellies. When the clock struck twelve only two kiddos had surrendered to the Sandman and our last guests departed close to three am. Such a fun night โ€“ here’s to a super 2011!

I’ll be posting winter break and Christmas recaps soon, but with two weeks off I’m hitting the ground running with exciting work projects. New Years resolution #1: Slow down and catch up. Did I break it already? Oops.

Wow, I'm so impressed the kiddos could stay up so late! Nathan was zonking out on the couch by 10:30 p.m., and Chad and I were out by about 11:30 (and of course Nathan was up by 6:30 a.m. the next day — how lovely.)
