Easter Weekend

April 26, 2011 by dailygnome 3 Comments

Annual Grant Park egg hunt with Carson’s infant BAM group {in the sunshine!}:

Baskets in hand, ready for the green light. Hard to believe those same babies are headed to kindergarten come fall. Fun to see the younger siblings join in too.

Brunch at our house. Custom blender omelets washed down with mimosas {how-to recipe here}. Amy and Dave joined us again with their girls {fourth year running!} fresh baked runzas in hand for the appetizer. She had another name for them, but that’s what we all decided to call them. Hosting was made easy with Gaga bringing homemade muffins and fresh fruit.  After just returning home from Texas, this was much appreciated:

And I really hope Hadley’s “camera smile” phase comes to an abrupt end soon:

Glad you had sunshine. And you've set a new standard for traditions–four years in a row for Easter with Dave and Amy! 🙂 Miss you all and wish you happy spring.

IKEA (SVALA table & chairs) + a can of spray paint.

A friend of mine painted a chalkboard on top of their set for the playroom. Fun!
