A Taxi and a Lollipop

January 13, 2011 by dailygnome 4 Comments

Santa got off easy this year, while we spent the wee hours of Christmas morning assembling a four foot pink house that got trumped by a 25 cent Tootsie pop…

Ahhhhh….the video just made me smile! Brings back memories when Jen was that age…she reacted the same as Carson and Hadley with excitement being over the smaller items rather then the larger ones! Very cute! Loved seeing Carson give Hadley a couple of kisses and she allowing him to have a lick of her lollipop. Sure do miss you all. Keep posting those videos! Sending love and hugs your way.

Reminds me of what my aunt said some years ago, “I hope my girls are always excited to get a small vanilla ice cream cone.” I love it that their joy does not depend on more and bigger and plastic. You guys are doing a great job!

The big hit in our house this year was the bumblebee pillow pet. He's still walking around the house with it clutched under his arm, stroking it and quietly singing the jingle to it: “you're a pillow…you're a pet…you're my pillow pet!”
