Our Little Houdini

November 1, 2006 by dailygnome 11 Comments

I’ve looked forward to today with anticipation and fear the past four months. We spent the morning at Emanuel Hospital for Carson’s follow-up ultrasounds on his neck and kidneys. Turns out our little magician did his disappearing act – there was no sign of the right kidney or his tumor. TaDa! Such a different experience than the last time – Carson was giggling throughout the entire appointment. The gel was warm and the ultrasound wand kept tickling him. He found the whole thing to be quite hilarious.

Big sigh of relief. We can put this entire experience behind us. Jason and I celebrated at Grand Central with scones and Stumptown. Today turned out to be a very good day.

Yes, such very good news. It’s no surprise Carson giggled through the whole experience. As Dave says, “This little guy has everything going for him!” Blessings and love!
