Breaking It In

December 19, 2008 by dailygnome 4 Comments

Didn’t want to get too far in over my head so I started with this fun and easy project. Still getting my feet wet. On my first trip to the fabric store this car fabric caught my eye.

I simply cut out pieces and sewed them to the front of plain white onesies. There seems to be an abundance of baby boys born lately so I thought these would make nice gifts to welcome them into the world. Carson loved pointing out all the different colored cars and busses and trucks and motorcycles and stoplights so I’ll be making him a set as soon as I get my hands on some 3T shirts.

Very cute, love it! I like your idea of using the whole pattern. I have tried cutting out large letters for the initials of the kids too.
