One afternoon just before Christmas (during phase II of HunkerDown 08) I decided to get my craft on.
A month earlier I purchased this bag of fabric from jcaroline creative for a mere $3. A vast collection of both designer pieces and discards I used for various projects including a few onesies. The unused pieces (some of the patterns I wasn’t too keen on) ended up the perfect size and shape for bean bags. I sewed along the perimeter, leaving about a half inch open. Using a funnel I filled each with about a 1/2 cup of rice and sewed them shut.
Stacked up, lined up, tossed up…they’ve provided Carson hours of entertainment.
Ooh, I wish I still had Home Canary, because I would post about these. I love them. I'm also loving the new look of Daily Gnome. Hugs to Carson & Jason.

I was very impressed when I saw these in Carson’s room! You’re so crafty! I remember when I was little my parents made me a bean bag toss by cutting holes in a big sheet of wood and painting a cool picture on the front. It was awesome. 🙂
Adorable! I wish I was crafty like that. Visiting from Ann’s GNO…
