Every six weeks I’m guaranteed a night away from Carson to attend my book club. We usually meet up at one of our houses for a relaxing evening of discussion, wine drinking and good conversation.
Last night, in light of our book selection (Animal, Vegetable Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver), we opted to venture out to Kruger’s Farm on Sauvie Island for an outdoor blugrass concert and picnic. We all brought dishes featuring garden-fresh, local ingredients and there was plenty of local microwbrew on tap. We obviously had a good time – as we were packing up we realized the music had stopped, it was dark and we were the last blanket on the lawn.
how fun! i hope you have room for me in your book club when we move back to Portland. 🙂
love the photo’s Amy! Good job… and everyone looks great in photo. I didn’t think you got the “cheers” photo but you did!
