Graduation Day

September 2, 2011 by dailygnome 2 Comments

The day arrived far too quickly {not that I didn’t have fair warning}. But it seemed like just yesterday we were still counting your milestones in weeks.

We kicked off the day with a celebratory breakfast at our neighborhood bagel shop before dropping you both off for your final days.

Running down the aisle to “Uncle Jesse.” Your school knows how to give a proper sendoff!

Hadley certainly enjoyed the potluck dinner and cupcakes!

Your teachers compiled a book of each graduate’s story from the time you began. Complete with photos and first-hand experiences. It gave me a window into your daily life over the past few years when I wasn’t around. It was an emotional experience reading your story together.

I’m so proud of you Little Gnome. Next stop: Kindergarten!

Love, love, love the video and can't wait to read all about Carsons' experiences in his graduation book!

I totally remember the little guy on the porch with the large lunch box thinking this was a huge step! Now Carson's off to kindergarten. Blink, and he'll be a college freshman.
