Birthday Boy

November 11, 2006 by dailygnome 3 Comments

Carson turned six months old today! We celebrated by giving him his first taste of real food. A heaping teaspoon of ripe banana. Although he was more interested in watching Madi begging for her own helping and most of the food ended up on his face or down his shirt, he put forth a good effort.

We’ve officially entered the rainy season in Portland so the majority of our activities lately have been indoors. Earlier this week we made a trip to the public library and Carson opened an account and was even given his own library card (although I think I’m liable if he doesn’t return those books on time!) I guess now he has a use for his pants pockets (what else would a six month old use those pockets for?)
