The I Love You Song

Carson refers to this song as the I Love You Song. When he recognizes it a smile spreads across his face and he starts swaying to the melody.

The other day it came on the radio just as we were pulling into the driveway. We stayed in the car listening. I watched in the rear-view mirror as he leaned into Hadley’s car seat telling her those three little words. I love you, baby sister. And smiled. Love these moments.

When it was over he asked me to play it again. I explained to him that I couldn’t. Unlike a CD, DVR, OnDemand, a DVD or the Internet this was the radio. You can’t replay songs on the radio. He thought I was trying to pull one over on him. Again, mama!

So we came inside and found this video online. Then we watched it again:
