Living in close quarters, void of toys and familiarity I wasn’t sure how the kids would adapt to our temporary living situation. Without their neighborhood friends and regular scheduled play dates the most unexpected happened – they’ve been getting along better than ever. Bonding over spaceship creations {made of scrap wood from the house site}. Impromptu art projects. Logging hours of Lego time {Carson makes her fancy ships with pink wings}. Taking turns in the hammock chair. Exploring. Let’s hope this lovefest continues when we’re back in the house. Knock on {scrap} wood.
Love it and them and you. She'll always be his little sister, and he her amazing big brother. I know…I watched my dad and my aunt travel into old age like that.
