My sweet tokens of affection for Mother’s Day. I felt very special and well celebrated.
Carson created this mixed media piece at school using watercolors, pencil and ink pad {his fingerprints!}. Promptly framed and hung.
Hadley’s letter to me, dictated by her teachers {referring to the bootie shaking, by We she means her}.
You know, you DO kind of smell like spaghetti sauce. π (Totally joking!) Carson’s teacher came up with such a neat Mother’s Day project! At Nathan’s school, he decided he didn’t want to give his Mother’s Day project to me. He wanted to give it to the cat instead. So while all of the other kids drew these beautiful cards for their moms, Nathan drew his for the cat and wrote “Happy Cat’s Day!” on it. The inside read “I hope you get to take lots of naps today!” And he gave her the coil clay pot that the kids were supposed to give their moms.
He did make me something else, so I shouldn’t complain too much. π
