Instead of containing it to just one day, Carson had Birthday Week. It kicked off on his actual birthday with a trip to Saint Cupcake, included a Birthday Brunch with G&G Petrie on Mother’s Day, gifts shipped in from friends and family all week, and ended today with a gathering up at GaGa and Papa’s. We were planning to host but the weather turned and our backyard picnic party was just not an option. GaGa had a great idea of Ziplock Omelets. A few dozen eggs in a blender, scoop a cup into your bag, choose your ingredients, write your name on the bag and place it in a big pot of boiling water. Ten minutes later emerges fluffy goodness shaped to perfection (I know, I was pleasantly surprised too!). Carson opted for feta-asparagus. Then he opened a bunch of presents, got sung Happy Birthday twice, and ate yet another cupcake. This kid knows how to celebrate!
