If Carson had his way he would carry his baby sister around all day and shower her with his endless supply of kisses and hugs. Big, tight, slobbery, Big Brother Bear Hugs. But when she’s napping or nursing BBBH don’t go over so well. For these times we invented the Hand Hug. A little squeeze, a gentle rub to share his love and let her know he cares when a BBBH isn’t convenient.
He gives them liberally. Yesterday Hadley got a Hand Hug that lasted from our house all the way to school, reaching across the back seat into her car seat.
Lately he started giving them to me. But I far prefer his Bear Hugs, even if they sometimes come with a side of goobers.
