My parents recently bought me a Johnny JumpUp. Now I’m not one to brag – I tend to leave that to the grandparents – but I’m getting pretty good. Some have even called my JJ skills wicked.
You have to watch closely, because I’m quick. And stand back – I need space to perform my moves. There’s the Double Spiral, and I’m working on something I like to call the Triple Lutz Switchback. The landing still needs work, but eventually it will become my signature jump. This one time I caught like two feet of air. Unfortunately nobody got a good shot because it happened so fast.
My mom keeps putting these annoying toys on the tray that I immediately swat away. They take away from my focus. Seriously, can she not take a hint?
Day or night, you’ll find me in JJ. Sometimes mom or dad will try to take me out before I’m done with practice and I’ll pitch a fit. They just don’t understand my dedication.
